Liberty University.
As you guys know, I went to Virginia last weekend to see Liberty University. It's was such an amazing experience. I loved it more than I thought I would.
I had never been to the east coast, so I couldn't imagine what it would look like. Living in Arizona all of my life I kinda have grown accustom to seeing only dirt and nothing green. Let me just tell you, everything was green and there was so much standing water I wanted to cry.
Not only did I live the beauty of the state I was in, but I also loved the people there. I got to stay with my friends sister, which was cool because then I kinda knew someone, she was so great btw. She showed me around on the first night there and then I didn't see too much of her for the rest of the weekend. I was bummed I didn't get to know her better, but on the last night there I got to hang out with her and her friends for a couple hours and that just made me so much more excited to go there.
For the past couple weeks I've been going through some hard times and it was so nice to be loved on for a change. One of the first things they asked me was "How can we pray for you?" The community of loving, godly people there was very overwhelming at first. I wasn't used to seeing that.
I'm very excited to say that Liberty is my number 1 choice for colleges. In 2017 I will be applying and in Fall of 2018 hopefully attending to get my Bachelors in secondary education with an emphasis in English.
// Thanks so much for reading!! My family and I had a wonderful trip!! Please be praying for my family this weekend as it is our commissioning service at our home church. This just means we are one step closer to leaving!! Very exciting things happening soon!! //
